B-Scan transducers are used to create an ultrasonic
two-dimensional cross section view.
Blatek has many years of experience in producing high performance B-scan
“sector scanner” transducers for ophthalmic and general imaging applications.
B mode ocular ultrasound transducers typically operate at the 10MHz to 50MHz frequency
range. Popular general imaging B-scans can range from 2.0MHz through 10MHz. Blatek
B-scan transducers typically are designed to exhibit high sensitivity levels and
broad frequency bandwidths. A typical transducer has a focal length of 25mm,
fractional bandwidth greater than 50% and loop sensitivity of -28dB.
Blatek's medical grade ultrasonic transducers are constructed using
bio-compatible materials, our proprietary piezocomposite technology and well documented
process controls to ensure consistency batch after batch.
