Bscan Transducers

B-Scan transducers are used to create an ultrasonic two-dimensional cross section view of tissue. We have multiple years of experience in producing high performance B-scan “sector scanner” transducers for ophthalmic and general imaging applications. B-mode ocular ultrasound transducers typically operate at the 10MHz to 50MHz frequency range. Popular general imaging B-scans can range from 2.0MHz through 10MHz. Our B-scan transducers are designed to exhibit high sensitivity levels and broad frequency bandwidths. A typical transducer has a focal length of 25mm, fractional bandwidth greater than 50%, and loop sensitivity of -28dB.

Blatek's medical grade ultrasonic transducers are constructed using bio-compatible materials, our proprietary piezocomposite technology, and well documented process controls to ensure consistency batch after batch.
