Normal Incidence Shear Wave Transducers

   Normal Incidence Shear Wave Transducers were developed to introduce a shear wave directly into the inspection part without the use of an angle beam wedge. These transducers have been designed with diminished longitudinal content and can be produced in frequencies from 1.0MHz through 10.0MHz. Conventional element disc sizes of .250" through 1.0" are available for all frequencies.
