Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and innovative Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems and components. This role requires a strong foundation in mechanical design principles and the ability to work collaboratively on various engineering projects. The Mechanical Engineer will play a crucial role in enhancing product performance and reliability while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

  • Creates designs for medical ultrasound products using 3-D design, modeling and other techniques including case packaging, tooling design and materials properties usage.
  • Develops manufacturing processes by studying product requirements; researching, designing, modifying and testing manufacturing methods and equipment; conferring with equipment vendors, and soliciting observations from operators.
  • Confirms design verification by comparing design output to design input.
  • Supports production changes by recommending modifications in the light of prototype or test results.
  • Assures product and process quality by designing testing methods; testing finished processes.
  • Maintains product and company reputation by complying with government regulations.
  • Designs tooling as necessary to support transducer fabrication.
  • Completes design and development projects by training and guiding technicians using sound principles and techniques.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Maintains a safe working environment by following safety rules and regulations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proficiency in mechanical design with experience in CAD software, especially SolidWorks.
  • Familiarity with CNC operations.
  • Strong understanding of schematics and technical documentation.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to conduct root cause analysis effectively.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Available Position:
Assemblers

We are looking for assemblers to bond, mix epoxy, solder, attach wires/cable and assemble cable while using a microscope at times.

Successful candidates need to be able to work independently but as part of the overall team, be highly motivated, reliable and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Other requirements include the ability to follow written and oral communication and the ability to learn other tasks related to assembly. Candidates must be able to work overtime during peak production times. Electronic assembly experience would be a plus but is not required – we are willing to train the right individuals who possess the desire to learn and grow with the company!
