Available Position:
Senior Transducer Development Engineer/
Medical Products Team Leader

We are seeking an experienced Senior Transducer Development Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing and developing medical ultrasound transducers used in a wide range of applications. Your expertise will play a pivotal role in advancing our technology in the medical transducer marketplace. The ideal candidate must be capable of leading a multi-functional engineering team in the design and fabrication of medical array and single element transducers. We are a small but diverse company and this engineering team leader is expected to be a versatile, hands-on contributor with broad technical skills that can multitask well.

Essential Job skills and responsibilities:
Must have solid, experience based knowledge in all aspects of the design and fabrication processes of multi-element, piezoceramic transducers and components to include PCBs, flex circuits, connectors and cables. Experienced in the fabrication and processing of piezocomposite materials to include PZT based composites, matching layers and lenses. Must possess a working knowledge of engineering materials, epoxies and adhesives used to fabricate medical devices to include patient contact biocompatibility, cleaning and disinfecting requirements. A strong understanding of transducer acoustic performance is a must along with experience in transducer testing. Effective written and verbal communication skills are a must as you will be expected to communicate with customers, vendors and internal team members on project requirements and technical needs. Responsibilities include developing mechanical, electrical and performance requirements & test specifications that will meet our cost and manufacturing needs and meet the customer’s desired product objective.

Education Required:
4 year Engineering degree – 5+ years applicable experience.

Available Position:
Dicing Saw Operator – 3rd Shift

Reads and interprets prints and procedures for dicing ceramic, develops proper paperwork while following the ISO procedures.

Education:
High School Diploma or GED.
Experience:
A minimum of 2 years of related experience is required along with a strong knowledge of math skills.
Knowledge/Skills Required:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and ability required.
Other Requirements:
• Reads and interprets prints and procedures.
• Knows and records maintenance and cleaning procedures for the dicing saws.
• Operates all dicing machines and maintains blades properly.
• Fills composites with epoxies.
• Completes all process verification records accurately and maintains lot control and end product serialization where required.

Available Position:
Assemblers

We are looking for assemblers to bond, mix epoxy, solder, attach wires/cable and assemble cable while using a microscope at times.

1st and 3rd Shifts available.

Successful candidates need to be able to work independently but as part of the overall team, be highly motivated, reliable and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Other requirements include the ability to follow written and oral communication and the ability to learn other tasks related to assembly. Candidates must be able to work overtime during peak production times. Electronic assembly experience would be a plus but is not required – we are willing to train the right individuals who possess the desire to learn and grow with the company!
